The book I want is checked out already. How do I put a hold on it?

Answer

If the item you want is not available, use the Request button near the top of the catalog page to put a hold on the item. You must sign into your library account to use this feature. Library staff can also place a hold for you in person or over the phone.

 

Once the item comes in, you will be notified. An item will remain on the hold shelf for 72 hours.
