Can I work at the library?
How do I get a job working in the library?
Answer
We hire many student employees under the Federal Work Study program and for general Student Worker Positions.
You'll need to complete a work study application and submit it online through your student Workday account. When signed into Workday, run a search for "Find Jobs for Students" then use the filters to narrow your search to positions at UAFS. If the library is accepting applications, you will see a listing for Boreham Library. Click the link and then click Apply.
Find details on the application process and Work Study programs here. For general work study questions, please email the Financial Aid office at workstudy@uafs.edu.
We hire as needed and competition can be high. To increase the likelihood of consideration, please keep these tips in mind.
- We complete most of our hiring BEFORE a semester starts.
- We sometimes hire mid-semester, but this is often for specific, nonnegotiable time slots.
- A lack of previous work experience does not disqualify you for consideration but you should consider having a reference.
Full time positions at UAFS can be found on the UA system job search site.
